Chamber supports Gov. Herbert's decision to make state fleet idle free
Salt Lake Chamber issued a statement in support of Gov. Herbert’s executive order requiring all non-emergency state vehicles to turn off their engines when not in traffic and idling more than 30 seconds. The move is expected to save the state some 60,000-plus gallons of fuel a year–a big savings for tax payers.
